- On Earth Day (April 22), the company planned its second consecutive employee tree-planting event, aimed at reducing carbon emissions and fine dust while protecting the planet<br />

Solution
- Lotte Nestlé Korea organized the ‘2023 Employee Tree-Planting’ event as part of the ‘Cup of Respect’ campaign—symbolizing the sustainable growth of Nescafé’s coffee and the environment
- On Earth Day (April 22), the company planned its second consecutive employee tree-planting event, aimed at reducing carbon emissions and fine dust while protecting the planet
- Expanded media relations through press releases capturing the connection between the environment and coffee, and photo releases showcasing the vibrant tree-planting event atmosphere


<h5>Results</h5>
- Lotte Nestlé Korea’s CEO and approximately 50 employees participated, planting 60+ Japanese snowbell trees at a forest development site in Noeul Park<br />
- Trees with strong environmental restoration properties were selected, and a variety of preliminary activities were carried out<br />
  : Approximately 30 ‘seed bank’ bags filled with acorns and walnut seeds were prepared and placed throughout the park<br />
  : A ‘leaf mulching’ activity was carried out to promote healthy tree growth through natural composting<br />
- Employees were encouraged to use reusable cups instead of paper cups and handkerchiefs instead of tissues to practice carbon neutrality<br />
- Photo press releases capturing the event atmosphere were distributed to maximize media coverage<br />
